comte de Mazan Posted December 29, 2013 Share #41 Posted December 29, 2013 Advertisement (gone after registration) I really recommend the M6. I had problems with the shutter of a new M6ttl under warranty, which could not be solved by Leica. They lent me for my summer holidays an M7, and finally proposed an MP in exchange, for 700 €. Advertisement Posted December 29, 2013 Posted December 29, 2013 Hi comte de Mazan, Take a look here M6 v M6TTL. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
sc_rufctr Posted December 30, 2013 Share #42 Posted December 30, 2013 I absolutely love my M6ttl (.58) AND.... Having a .58 viewfinder is brilliant for taking photos with you sunglasses on. (I have to wear them outside because I have type 2 diabetes) For the first time ever I actually bought a flash and had a go at some night shooting. Lots of fun. Also... The easier to use Shutter speed dial IMO is brilliant. It's one of the reasons I haven't bought a new MP (ducking for cover )
NJH Posted December 30, 2013 Share #43 Posted December 30, 2013 I have heard this point a lot about the shutter speed dial, it was a concern of mine coming from the M8. However after only 4 rolls through the M6 I am perfectly content with the shutter speed dial, for starters I really don't think its a great idea to be fiddling around with it a lot whilst looking through the viewfinder.
