My limited time with the 21SEM have suggested there can be a tad of corner smearing in some images while the WATE is totally free from it. If you're still wondering about which focal lenses you need then I think the WATE will satisfy your curiosity. A good reason to go for 21SEM or an 18SEM is if you need the absolute best performer in those particular focal lengths.
