If you are wedded to film, then you need to rethink that. All my film cameras except a Zone VI and M6 are gone. I'd agree with this, except if I were in your situation I'd probably sell the Canon too. I've lived without an SLR for two years now, previously always having had one alongside whatever other system I've been using since the late 1970s. I do not miss the SLR and you might be surprised what you can accomplish with an M8 or 9 if you don't have an SLR as a safety net. My photography has certainly improved since I got rid of my SLRs.
