salmon78 Posted April 5, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 5, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've poked around this site a bit an can't find any information on using an M8 profile in Aperture. There are posts about calibrating ACR and selecting a profile in C1, but I don't see anything for Aperture. I gues my question is how do I assign an M8 profile for my RAW pictures in Aperture. Also, does anyone have a suggested profile (1.092 / UV only). Thanks.
Advertisement Posted April 5, 2007 Posted April 5, 2007 Hi salmon78, Take a look here New to Aperture--do I need to set an M8 profile. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
carstenw Posted April 5, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 5, 2007 Aperture does not yet support the M8. According to some chats with Apple employees, it will come once firmware 1.10 is out, ie. in the next few weeks. Someone posted a tip on how to make it work anyway, but I don't have a link to the thread, being a Lightroom user.
salmon78 Posted April 5, 2007 Author Share #3 Posted April 5, 2007 I've got the plist hack to get aperture to "recognize" my M8 raws, but I still don't know if aperture will also accept an ICC profile (for the M8 or any other camera, for that matter)
fjmcsu Posted April 6, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 6, 2007 No profiles but you can use the DNG files with this hack & the updated plist.
