johnbuckley Posted June 11, 2015 Author Share #41 Posted June 11, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Sorry to prolong this thread, and it is terrible to take comfort in others' misfortune, but I am a little relieved to find I'm not the only one who has had this problem. I won't have a chance to really test my theory until this weekend, but having taken out the battery that was in my M-P when it did this Saturday, and trying to recreate the problem just snapping pics around the house, I haven't had the problem resurface. I'll report in after the weekend, as I'll have a much better sense of my theory that it is a deficient battery holds up.

CheshireCat Posted June 11, 2015 Share #43 Posted June 11, 2015 I'll report in after the weekend, as I'll have a much better sense of my theory that it is a deficient battery holds up. That is not a theory, but a blind guess. You might as well blame the weather. Theories come with a tentative explanation
Jeff S Posted June 11, 2015 Share #44 Posted June 11, 2015 Possibly more than a blind guess…let's call it an hypothesis, if the behavior disappears, derived from correlating results based on this and other tested actions. The weather is an hypothesis related to the M9 corrosion issue. Jeff
