And I am very satisfied with the end result - so hands up for Leica! Â I didn't think of van Manen for the WATE. I have used van Manen several times in the past and I am very happy with him (I have also visited the workshop in Zoetermeer/the Netherlands, nice people!). Perhaps I was thinking that WATE is a rather complicated lens, so WATE is something for Leica. I could very well be wrong on that assumption. Â Irrespective of which repair workshop being used - it is good to know and experience that expensive Leica gear can be fixed! Â Next in - to Solms - is a M240 with defect viewfinder display and the 50-APO. I have been lucky with the last one showing no or only weak loss of central contrast, despite I have an early incarnation of the lens. But I want to get it checked anyhow. Both are under guarantee, so the waiting time will hurt more than the expenses... Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
