colint544 Posted August 2, 2016 Share #19261 Posted August 2, 2016 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thank you, Henry. I agree about Iford HP5 - to my eyes it has a softer, gentler rendering than Tri-X, and it pushes very nicely. I think I almost prefer it pushed a stop or two over the standard 400 ISO rating.

EoinC Posted August 2, 2016 Share #19263 Posted August 2, 2016 Must say that I like the film tones more then the digital version. f-) I had my Monochrom with me, too, but had trouble with blown highlights, even at 1/4000s and small apertures.

christoph_d Posted August 2, 2016 Share #19270 Posted August 2, 2016 These are in no particular order - just some individual scans I did at the weekend. This one was on my Leica M5, 35mm Summilux ASPH FLE, shot at f1.4, and Ilford HP5 pushed to 800 ISO. Cheers, Colin Nice subject, nice eyes, nice greyscale, nice composition: nice picture. EoinC Posted August 2, 2016 Share #19273 Posted August 2, 2016 I failed miserably on focus with these 2 evening shots, but I like the 1st for the memory of a girl walking with a motorbike helmet on, and the 2nd for the atmosphere of that evening... Can you please tell me how you are developing your RPX-25? I've been stand-developing in DDX, and have had fairly poor results so far.
