Creole portrait Summicron 35asph Ilford HP5@800 I like this one, Ian. In black and white it, somehow, becomes more than a flower (and I realise that sounds corny). A cowslip from only a few weeks ago. The spring flowers (along with the other great signifiers of spring like the Orange Tip butterfly) have now faded – a reminder of how transient the seasons are. I will have slightly underexposed (or corrected in LR) to highlight this beautiful face In print it's better I think , by opening a bit the diaphragm of the lens enlarger and developing a little more in time.
