gbealnz Posted May 16, 2016 Share #15443 Posted May 16, 2016 C, Love this, at first I thought it was a simple B&W shot, or a colour shot converted, but then saw the slip of colour in the middle. I had to check to see what the heck "Eagle 640" was. Nice shot. Gary

gbealnz Posted May 16, 2016 Share #15452 Posted May 16, 2016 Thank you Henry, me too, one thing we could not get past was the many "carved" stone buildings, such beauty. Gary I wait for Christoph answer but I find this https://www.macodirect.de/en/film/traffic-surveillanve-films/1886/maco-tcs-eagle-640-color-35mm-x-17m-on-spool Impressive film Rg H. and in addition this link http://www.italianfilmphotography.it/en/maco-eagle-tcs-2/ Gary, Henry, Yes, it is that film. It's definately a league apart, and if you expose it at the nominal ISO640, it almost guarantees significant grain. Exposed at ISO200, and in sunshine it is more akin to normal film, still grainy, but with nice, strong colours. I only took B&W film to NYC, but had this roll already started in my camera. In the rainy evening conditions, and with the rather strong vignetting of the Horizon, the grainy side shows in the pic above, only the strong advertising signs in the distance making an exception. I would not recommend it as a standard film if you want subtle colour hues or are searching for details, but for experimental work I love it! (It is sort of the anti-thesis to the pro-films that Adam likes to use ). Rgds Christoph
