Advertisement Posted August 31, 2014 Posted August 31, 2014 Hi Doc Henry, Take a look here I like film...(open thread). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Doc Henry Posted August 31, 2014 Author Share #1442 Posted August 31, 2014 Henry, your London shots are excellent. The colour from the film you have used is a true reflection of 'real' colour, especially as seen in the images of the fruit and the pink bus; the latter I walked passed maybe 3 weeks ago and do not recall it being anything as garish as your M9 rendition (I accept that dng files do need post-processing). David David, Thank you for your comment much apreciated and very useful for me,! .... which comes closest is the M8 for color ! but it is the film that the most faithful color ! I had with me the M7, M8 and M9 to compare Best regards Henry

chrism Posted September 4, 2014 Share #1450 Posted September 4, 2014 I don't know how I missed this lovely thread. I've slowly worked my way through all 73 pages over the last two days. It has been very uplifting as I'm sitting in a hotel and going for chemotherapy each day this week. I do have my M7 with me and I hope I'll be developing the XP2 in it at the weekend (like Gary, I do it in Rodinal 1:100 rather than in C41, and find it very nice if exposed at 200). Here a couple of nurses at the hospital where I worked before my unexpected 'vacation' with M7, 35 Lux and TMax 400 in TMax developer: and an older one of my son, rather soft as handheld at 1/15, MP, 50 Lux, Tri-X, Diafine: Chris
