Off to work...

NYC

M-A, 28mm summaron, Fuji Pro 400H (pushed one stop; the Pro 400H retains the color of the blue sky better than portra 400, imho)

Love that Adam...looks like he has just looked up when you hit the shutter

A couple more from the BEOON scan, and fortunately for Henry, that's it, as the Plustek arrived. I have been making a contact sheet of the last roll, so will select a few from that, in the fullness of time of course.

Both with M6

Like "our Neil", water off a ducks back Henry.

The Plustek is smoking right now, working hard, I'll call it a day soon.

Did a bit of enlarging last night even, printed a few to make sure I could still do it. Soothing it was, good to get the smell of fixer into the system again.

All the hallmarks of a perfect ambush here Adam, LOL

Sun in their eyes, narrow shaft of super bright light, happy snapper in the shadows almost (well, I see your shadow, but you get the idea).

Looks cold too.

Gary

Thanks, Gary, I think :)

And yes, I was a happy snapper :)

Early morning haze with Ektar

and dappled light with Fompan 200, both 645.

love the first one with the Ektar.  Really superb.

Love that Adam...looks like he has just looked up when you hit the shutter

Thanks, mate.  I liked his old world astute banker look in the context of Wall Street (just passing the NYSE)

Thanks, Henry.  I still don't thin the Fuji Pro 400H is cost beneficial relative to portra 400, which is CONSIDERABLY cheaper here in the US and scans better IMO

Thanks Adam for your kind comments much appreciated  :)

There is currently a lively and interested discussion on the vinyl disc in John thread:

http://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/258680-turntable-recommendations/page-2

As you enjoy film like me, you must love disc too I think , you can intervene

if you listen to vinyl records like me now :)

What a pleasure "to enjoy music" for short

'Vinyl and film same fight"
