I realise you won't know the answer (unless you spoke to her) but the main figure looks to be somewhat distressed - just the heat/humidity?  Or maybe she forgot her glasses and is just squinting at the paper in her hand...

Oh, I don't know, Keith.  This was from a few years ago and the photo got lost in my pile.  My guess is that it was hot and she was sprawled out like that in order to get some vitamin D from the sun...

Ok I give up, Reykjavík Iceland is a wonderland for this "art" tags everywhere so much so it is sometimes graffiti or advertising?

Plain ugly and pointless (IMHO)

Had my first fail with the Fuji GW690 but the camera can't be blamed, Saturday i was bored because Jane was getting her horse ready for the hunt so i took a walk with the camera and dogs but we ended up in the pub, with the Fuji i want to do more portraits so after a few pints i started shooting but i could only get 1/60 F2.8 iso3200

GW690 goes down to F3.5 and it was loaded with Fomapan 400 so thats about 3 stops but i will be under exposed by nearly a stop, some people might say they like the results

I certain gentleman from NYC spotted that I had posted a (shock-horror) digital image in the landscape section.  Have no fear, I had my 'Texas Leica' with me as well :)  Two images below - same subject, taken minutes apart.  One FF digital (Q), one GW690II on Tri-X.

Two views of a flooded Silbury Hill from yesterday's roll of Tri-X in the GW690II. Rodinal 1:50.

Keith - if you are talking about a certain dashingly handsome and well groomed gentleman from NYC, I will confirm that it was me :)

I think a need therapy after seeing that thread you started...

After all these hundreds and hundreds of pages of film love fests, I couldn't believe my eyes..

I just wish we had gotten to you sooner... :(

I have a bunch of this film in 35mm, out of date but frozen. I find that it has an interesting colour palette, a bit pinkish in certain situations perhaps but far from always and skin tones looks very pleasant. Supposedly the S version has higher contrast than the C version. I haven't shot the latter but don't find the S to be contrasty at all. Then again, maybe some of that (purported) contrast disappears when one aims for as flat a scan as possible, I don't know.

Gary, I haven't shot it with my Hasselblad yet so I'd be very interested to see your MF results.

I've got a roll of this in my GW690 it's out of date but my friend said it has always been in the fridge, I'm looking forward to seeing how it turns out

I will admit that those are great colors from that film that I've never heard of :)

Keith ,  interesting comparison

The first point is the definition of the grooves or wood grain

(the smoothing of pixels on the first picture) of the vertical piece of wood

over the lock

Secondly wood texture is not the same

Same remark for  the definition of the iron grid

If it is a Leica lens on the Fuji , it would be better defined IMO

A crop of the areas that I mentioned would be interesting

Best

Henry
