A miller Posted March 10, 2016 Share #12428 Posted March 10, 2016 Outstanding Ric. I particularly like the faint elevation behind the tree, which adds just a touch of depth to the image, and the gentle tonality. This would look great as a print on the wall. This is a beautiful portrait, Tony. The pose, composition and light makes it look cinematic. Love it Adam. Nothing beats thos colours. This matches my experience that Velvia 50 is more saturated than Velvia 100. Philip - i just now saw your post above. Thanks a lot for the nice comment. And yes, i am getting very saturated yet pretty balanced colors, which, as you say, is different than i get from the velvia 100 and provia 100. I will look into creeping into my workflow a little here and there... Take care, adam

honcho Posted March 10, 2016 Share #12431 Posted March 10, 2016 (edited) In my hill-walking/mountaineering days I climbed pretty much all of those, but rarely in such good weather conditions! The last time I climbed Tryfan was in blizzard conditions. Spin-drift hitting the face when trying to confirm location was painful :0 I've also had a few adventures above Ogwen over the years! The weather on this day was interesting, sleet and rain squalls with breaks in the heavy cloud which repeatedly lifted and came down again with some regularity. One squall was clearing and another on it's way to hit me from the Glyderau. Edited March 10, 2016 by honcho

EoinC Posted March 10, 2016 Share #12438 Posted March 10, 2016 I really like the colours you are getting from the Portra 160 in these street scenes, Philip. The painted walls come across as having some sort of subtle organic-ness (I have no idea what I mean by that).
