Eoin, forgive me , just to valorize this SP picture.

I decreased the exposure of two stops + a bit luminosity and contrast

Your opinion Eoin ?  :)

The advantage of having two cameras, not the same thing, if we want to be purist  :)
Photo taken at the same place and moment .In addition the weather changes quickly
The picture taken vertically in Kodak TX400 is the right half of the photo in color !

Match Kodak against....Kodak :)

Which you prefer ? :)

Some Neopan 400CN (which I understand is made by Ilford for Fuji and is a minor variant of XP2). Again 35 Summicron ASPH (my default lens).

(1) Beech trees in silhouette. Another from the first roll of Acros 100 in my GW690II.

(2) Distant views.  Looking east from the Ridgeway ancient long-distance route.  Same roll of film.

^Texas Leica, nice!

The sheer quality and resolution of the lens plus of course the 6x9cm neg are just about recompense enough for carrying 1.4kg around my neck!

Stray thought - how much does the Leica SL + 24-90 zoom weigh, I wonder?  Quick check shows a few grammes under 2Kg - well that definitely means crossing it off my list...
