Guest Posted February 2, 2016 Share #10542 Posted February 2, 2016 Zürich - Ilford XP2 by -Ric Capucho- Taken in the centre of the Zürich old town. XP2 again, of course. I've just bought ten rolls of Cinestill 800T... and will see if I can get the DX recoding stickers on their way to me. The guy at the film shop showed me a bunch of Rollei 35s which he's selling. That would certainly solve my bloody DX problems, and I'm more than capable of setting a manual exposure these days... or nights. Shall have to think about it. gsgary Posted February 2, 2016 Share #10546 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I probably should ask in the M leases forum but I would rather ask my friends here, I don't have a Leica lens yet only Voigtlander which are very good, I have 40mmF1.4 Nokton, 35F2.5 Color Skopar, 50mmF1.5 Nokton asph, 28mmF2.8 Ultron all M fit but I want to get a Leica lens I'm trying not to spend more than £750, so far I'm looking at the 35F2. 8 Summaron and f3.5 Summaron, what other would be worth looking at not stuck on 35mm but I don't want anything over 50mm Edited February 2, 2016 by gsgary

lleo Posted February 2, 2016 Share #10549 Posted February 2, 2016 (edited) I went to my office to catch the sunrise last week. Caught a few with EKTAR and here is one. A colleague is retiring and I was thinking of making a large print of this on Fuji Flex for him as a gift to with the message that, although he is retiring, his sun is still rising... Really nice. I know one gets used to the view, but if I'd work there, I'd probably have serious problems keeping my concentration instead spending the whole day staring outside. Nice lens, a little fiddly with the aperture lever (on the Leica T especially), but great on the M6, wonderful lens. Gary
gbealnz Posted February 2, 2016 Share #10554 Posted February 2, 2016 Gary yes but I sometimes take one or two digit cam with me to compare ! I have the critical mind by nature Your choice ? Best Henry I fear your setting me up here Henry, LOL. I think the second one is cleaner, and if pushed would pick that. Gary
Doc Henry Posted February 2, 2016 Author Share #10555 Posted February 2, 2016 I certainly like it, but was the strong vignette added during post production? Ric May be Neuling can post another picture without vignette just to compare Rg H.

Quite a few examples in this thread - in fact the Lacock images were all taken with it, one of the rare times I fitted it to my M7. It is a superb lens.
