Time out for the tonality, applause, applause, standing in for the drama of commonplace.

Twilight Zone moment, Christop. I’ve just been reading through more elegies to Elliott Erwitt and I saw your picture and sub-consciously thought it was another of his masterpieces. Please say you’ll print and frame this.

Thank you Phil, though perhaps too kind and charming a comparison. Though I’ll have to get my darkroom up and running again…

And yes, a great and witty photographer has left us. My favourite book of his: “Museum Watching”.

On my walking trail.

Leica 111f & Summitar 50mm. Both just refurbished, at an eye watering cost, but now pristine.

Ilford FP4+ @ iso250.

The quality of your camera - and of the results you achieve with it - will be remembered long after the price is forgotten …

looking forward to more pictures from your walking trail!

Thanks for the compliment Christoph. I am contemplation starting another Leica 111f book. My first was when I first acquired the camera. I dedicated a year to shooting the 111f. Maybe I will now advance it to a second book. The first was called "12 Months With a Leica 111f." Maybe the next could be another Year With a Leica 111f.
