Tony Mac Posted October 23, 2015 Share #7386 Posted October 23, 2015 Hi Tony - congrats on this first one. It is really beautiful and presents her very favorably. I agree, nice shots, and with what most would not consider a portrait lens perhaps. Gary I agree with Adam and Gary Me too , very nice , lovely and "soft" portrait Nice color of skin Tony Thanks for sharing Best Henry Thanks guys! I wish I owned a real "portrait" lens but I'm just making the most with one lens for now. I've been shooting a lot of Pro 400H and Portra 400 side by side and the 400H just has better skin tones, but the film is much less sensitive in changing conditions. I've been shooting portraits with my 35mm a bit further so it doesn't distort as much, and then cropping to a more horizontal aspect ratio that I'm used to (I work in film, where we sometimes have ratios of 2.40:1!)
