These are Portra 400. I have to say that I'm LOVING portra also. I have a fridge full of other film but if I was wealthy, it would all be portra!

 

This is her second roll of film ever :)

Did anyone here try Ilford's leader extraction tool, a.k.a. Film Retriever?

Somewhere at home I have a retrieval tool - cannot remember the name of it.  Tricky to use but when needs must...

My method to avoid the issue is to rewind leaving the leader out, then immediately trim it ready for loading onto a reel.

Lovely looking area. The only two I can be sure of are the two wearing fluoro, you mean them? LOL.
