philipus Posted September 9, 2015 Share #6722 Posted September 9, 2015 Another rainy photo, from a year ago. Shows how tricky transparency film can be when used in higher contrast environments. With C41 it would have been possible to bring out "Gifts" (a lot) more, but with transparencies there's very little information in blown highlights. Btw, this photo is unprocessed; the linear scan has only been developed in ColorPerfect. Flickr TTL 75/2 Velvia 100
ReturningToFilm Posted September 9, 2015 Share #6723 Posted September 9, 2015 University College London, May 2015. Just using Lightroom for the first time - goodness how much easier to post process! gsgary Posted September 9, 2015 Share #6732 Posted September 9, 2015 Moving to the right color curves I obtained that I allowed myself to correct to "make up" this beautiful picture with its nice bokeh Gary's opinion and your opinion ? Gary is perhaps tired not want to correct Dominant blue, probably a development temperature stability problem but film 18 years out of date still good IMO Best Henry Scan-130608-0006-XL-3-900+lum+cont-2.jpg I think I prefer the original because it show how the film performs when it is very out of date
