btw I have received my M7 back from Germany for the kind souls advising me on the issues I was facing. They could not find the fault. i.e. it disappeared, or otherwise put, it is a dreaded intermittent fault. And indeed to my surprise I could load a film and shoot happily. mmmm will have to be careful.

Thanks. I agree. When I first looked at this one, I could not help but think that there are folks out there that pay  a lot for large format lenses that render this way. I would. :)
