What a great portrait Charles. There's a lot of character in that gaze and the hair is like a frame within the frame. Sterling stuff. I'm always intrigued by how portraits are lit. Was this flash only and underexposing the ambient?

My first post 😅 Any Instagrammers among us?

A very good pick Adam, looking forward to the rest. Apart from, as someone said once, Facebook for adults (LinkedIn) I'm pretty absent from social media.

A slight contrast to the blizzard, here are two from the same Gold 200 roll that so strangely recorded the poppy field I posted earlier. First one with 85 Nikkor-H 85/1.8 and second one with 24/2.8 AI (X1).

ha ha, very funny, Philip.  Same here until only a few months ago.  And it was slow going with a steep learning curve.  Then only in the past week I have started to breakthrough some of the popular IG street photography groups and get tagged.  One in particular, which is one of the largest, tagged not one but a series of 10 of my snow blizzard photos yesterday:

I basically had to take the day off from work to manage all of the activity in my IG.  😂😫:)

Thanks, Joerg.  I wasn't sure who that was but I did recognize one of the photos.  Consider yourself "followed' :)

Not me Adam sorry, can't stand social meedia, can't even spell it.

Go for it though.

Very funny, Gary.  I basically am learning IG through this experience.  The whole idea of "taking over an account," sharing "stories" and "highlight" was completely foreign to me - until I was asked to do it :)

Wow, what a leap in your IG activities, Adam! May this lead to more interest and recognition outside of the digital universe, too.

@joergel: Nice feed, too :)

yeah, I know!  But it is the good kind of followers - people who actually like this genre of photography and want to engage - as opposed to cupcake businesses and escort services, who I just end up blocking! :)

Cupcake businesses and escort services - aren't they the same thing?
