Bravissimo! After a month, she emerges. She hits the road on the first dry day. Screw the temperature.

For the unwashed.....Moto Guzzi V7 Racer. :) Her name will be, "Prego." As in:...Prego, si accomodi. I am pumped.

Nikon F, Nikkor-N 28/2, Kodak 400 Ultramax

She's an absolute stunner, Wayne - enjoy the ride! What number is she of the limited run of 1,000?

I also like what you're getting with that FD 35mm f2 - it certainly gets right into the shadows. That nativity scene outside the mule shed is wonderful!

Hello Wayne

I have to say that she's a beauty, cradle and all! Just the mode of motorcycling which I love. Really classic and thanks for sharing. It might inspire me to take the old boxer out more often next spring-summer.

Nice photo too!

Cheers,

#0195. I had to laugh a bit......at myself, as I was walking in to first lay eyes on her. It was wonderful how all those youthful memories of past motorcycles brought the boy in me back to the surface.

Thanks for the comment on the nativity scene shot. I noticed, first off, the shadow rendition. I need to shoot some color now.

The sounds of a Moto Guzzi and of a Ducati in my ears are much better than of a Harley Davidson. Also nice sounds a 3 cylinder Triumph. Just my 2 cents... ;)

Yes. It, of course, has the stock exhaust, but that will likely change soon. My first Guzzi was an original V7 that had a pretty much open exhaust. The note, at idle or at cruise, was intoxicating.

Cheers,

It is wonderful how just the view of certain bikes can make one want to ride. Since giving them up when my children came into the world, I had not thought of them, motorcycles, too much. I think it was the "classic" look of the V7 that sucked me in again. I am grateful to those at Mandello del Lario and Piagio who had enough sense to keep a great thing going.

That first one 😆 as if the fumes from his and other motorbikes on your streets aren't bad enough, he can't stomach the smell of the food that he has just ordered?? 😂

Very painterly, Wayne.  The magenta cast works well and adds strength.

Lovely cool colors, Wayne. Ultramax tends to have blue casts in the shade, it works very well in this context.

Yes. I agree. If I recall, it was taken just before daybreak. I believe at F2 and 1/15. I like this film.

Thanks for the comment.

Best,

Wayne
