I learn good things about Leica equipment and its 35mm films on this forum. Larger formats behave differently (they're usually nicer to view). But I'm just here for the combination of intelligence+talent+35mm+Leica.

Anything else is just stuff I have to wade through.

The new posts will just makes it harder to keep up with Adam & Philip's generous and informative film carriage & anti-Newton glass conversation and Chris' monobath and Gsgary's Rodinal miracles.

Thank you very much sorry I've not posted many lately Jane has been ill the last 2 weekends and we had a trip to A &E last Wednesday for the first time Jane has ever had Keytones Henry will know what I mean, she had been given antibiotics that cause very high blood sugars and a very young A&E doctor spotted straight away, everything is back to normal now

Open day at Tyseley train works, a lot of steam locomotives, some in running conditions.

Shot 3 rolls and half, a show you don't see everyday.

You guys want more? I have 108 shots of the event. that was serious fun, besides the overcast sky that ruined most of the shots, with a clear blue sky I would have appreciated more the clouds of steams these beasts exhaled.

The colors of the Kodak film have inspired much engineers in the design and manufacture of the CCD sensor of M8 and M9
and also Leica for the software part

Henry, I very much like the tonality and the grain (which developer?). If I may, I would have held the camera level with the floor so the vertical lines (near and far) would have become vertical and the three parts of the images - entrance, decorated wall and urinals - would have been clearly distinguished. This would have given a stronger composition, placing the lamp post in a perfect spot in the image. Then again your intention was perhaps to break the (non-existing) rules :D

Beautiful Cuthbert, lovely shots, and a great day by the looks of it.

Very envious.

Guys, I think it's better if I open a separate thread not to flood this one as I've way too many pics of the event!

Philip ,  as I often take the plane at CDG Paris, I promise, I will take with a 28 mm for more space next time ... but this time, I was in a hurry ..... it was an emergency :D

Thank you for your very friendly suggestion :)

Development is with Kodak D76  1:1

Cheers
