Yes, this lens is pretty unreal.

I have the recent 50cron and it never "hits" me hard. It is just too proper and kinda "perfect"

This older rigid 50 has so much more character. IMO that is.

You had to say it. I had to read it. Now I want a rigid.   I kind of agree, the modern is almost too perfect.

very nice contrast in this one.  Is this Tri-X?

Thanks, Adam.

It's either Tri-X or T-Max... As I've mentioned before, I have not been too attentive in keeping a record of what film I used. I could dig the neg out, of course!  :)

I have reformed a bit now (since the beginning of this year) and keep a little note book for record.

Haha very funny indeed, Adam. Yes I think it could be an autoportrait.

Good one, Philip.  But isn't it an "autoportrait"?  I guess now I am confused unless the terms are synonymous...?

Thanks for the feedback, Philip.  This is exactly what I was after.

Good one, Wayne.  You really go back in time with that rendition...

This is great Wayne. I love photos that bring the viewer to the eye level of children. Two that spring to my mind when I saw your photo are this one and, in particular, this one by Christer Strömholm (I'm not sure it is permitted to insert the images in the post hence the links).

Hear is the best from my trip to Japan with the M6ttl. After shooting LF I think I will stick to LF in future...........I enjoyed developing these this morning with a C41 kit, theres an awful lot of satisfaction when you load a film in a camera, take a picture and then come home and develop it in the good old kitchen sink........
