edwardkaraa Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39901 Posted September 13, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Edward. I have the frame before with better verticals, couldn't make my mind up which I preferred. I started the roll in bright sunshine so these ended up 1/15, maybe even 1/8. 17047-170409-0009.jpg One more from the same roll (from April! slow turnaround!) 37012010422_5ef0482373_b.jpg This one is very nice too. You have amazing low shutter speed hand holding abilities, Richard!

jip Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39911 Posted September 13, 2017 (edited) I scanned a Kodak Portra 400 negative, and post processed it in Lightroom and Photoshop to create a 50*75cm matte inkjet print, which I then framed with a passepartout in a thin black frame. See the gear used and result: Edited September 13, 2017 by jip

Reeray Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39913 Posted September 13, 2017 @Edward - nice results from the RPX 400. I must give this a try. What speed are you rating it?
edwardkaraa Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39914 Posted September 13, 2017 @Edward - nice results from the RPX 400. I must give this a try. What speed are you rating it? Thank you Ray! It is a nice film with a classic grain structure. I shoot it at box speed but it has a wide latitude for both under-and overexposure.
gnuyork Posted September 13, 2017 Share #39915 Posted September 13, 2017 Here is the same steel structure that was the subject of the world heavyweight champion match that took place a couple of days ago. Only this time it is shot (taken at Dawn) from farther away (up a hill) and with the 503cw and 80 planar Kodak Ektar is the film de jure This is from the morning that I drove and hour and a half in the middle of the night only to get there and find that I forgot my bag of film and only had a half of a roll of Ektar in one of the film backs. So no other films to compare today! Ektar_.jpg Good thing Ektar delivers for this subject.
