Wayne Posted September 5, 2017 Share #39583 Posted September 5, 2017 Some photos from a local walk a few months ago. M6, Kentmere 400. Voigtlander Nokton 35 f1.4. Test2_1 (9).jpg by Greg.May, on Flickr on Flickr I love this one. It made me think of a conversation I had, with one of my daughters, the other day: Most men are a lot like dogs: like to hang around cars; hope to escape notice; like to be scratched and fed on a regular basis.......Simple creatures, really

A miller Posted September 5, 2017 Share #39588 Posted September 5, 2017 Adam, what a beautiful picture ... the colors are fantastic! Great .... Best gregor Thanks, Gregor! The rainbow colors running across the water kind of remind me of a giant oil spill The Ektar held its own out there; looking forward to sharing more!
stray cat Posted September 5, 2017 Share #39589 Posted September 5, 2017 Phil, Your picture is really impressive ... Very nice! Did you use ND-Filter? Best Gregor Thank you so much Gregor! No, back in 1979 I didn't know what an ND filter was! With just 25 ISO, Agfapan 25 pretty much ensured you didn't need one anyway - this would have been at f16, so a slow shutter speed would have been used (1/2 sec?). Dawn, Dead Sea Ektar Hassy 503cw, 80mm Planar Adam - this is superb. Your fortitude and determination to get out there in those early mornings has been well rewarded. The colours in this landscape are simply breathtaking. I've been trawling the archives (again!). This is from my first ever trip to Paris: Centre Georges Pompidou, 1980 Canon F1, FD 100mm f2.8, Agfapan 100
edwardkaraa Posted September 5, 2017 Share #39590 Posted September 5, 2017 Very nice, Edward. These two are my favourites, the play of light on the water and the feeling of the water's power, thanks for taking a soaking for us! A much more static shot of a local sculpture. Rolleiflex/Tri-X. Thank you very much for the kind comments, Coogee You almost fooled me with this shot. I thought it was a human The b/w tones are superb.

edwardkaraa Posted September 5, 2017 Share #39592 Posted September 5, 2017 Leica M7, CV 28/2, Ilford XP2 400 film Very nice architecture shots, Martin. Framing is excellent. Leica Barnack iiif, 35mm 3.5 summaron, Vista 200 Love this shot! Everything falls nicely in place, and perfect moment. Rolleiflex 3,5F, Tmax 400, developed and scanned through meinfilmlab.de 400tmy-9274-09.jpg Gorgeous lines. Fantastic! From a very wet and overcast Bergen, Norway. One might think that this image has been desaturated and selectively saturated but apart from setting the black point this is pretty much the image that came out of the scanner. Flickr 50/1.4A Superia 400 at EI800 This is a great shot, Philip, with a lot of potential. Needs just a touch of PP to bring out the red in the umbrella. That's beautiful, Philip. I've stood in exactly that spot, but unfortunately only have a digital picture to show for it . Seems I've always had a thing for waterfalls... Popular Post wattsy Posted September 5, 2017 Popular Post Share #39597 Posted September 5, 2017 Haven't posted a butterfly photo for a while. There's a tendency amongst butterfly photographers (as was the case with collectors) to target pristine, newly emerged examples. Personally, I rather like many of the tattier, more worn specimens which have lived a bit (albeit only for a few days). I don't think I've posted this one before. A female Common Blue.
