Tripple cheap here. Helios 81H (it was given to me for free with Kiev-19), cheap Nikon FG-20 and cheapest bw film Polypan F.

At f2:

It may be cheap, but I really like the Polypan-F film. It has quite a unique texture, and the lack of anti halation layer can be used to good effect. How did you expose and develop it?

ok, so it wasn't such a complete and totally utter waste of a shoot last night....and, to boot, I bonded with the Velvia 100, which I hardly shoot any of, which will be changing... :)

This one made me laugh. When about 16 or so, I had a friend who had an ill tempered cat that looked a lot like Felix. He, the cat, cornered me in the bathroom one evening; the only way I was able to get around him was to use the water-pic (dental appliance popular in US at the time..sort of like a hydraulic laser) on him. Water is always the sure thing when facing off with a cat. :)

hahaha ,... very nice story. But Felix is fascinated by water ... he is always waiting in the evening as in the photo, that somebody will open the water tap.

m4-2 1.4/35 pre Portra 400

Troyes is a very beautiful town. We came from Bonn and were quite late. It was a "ètape" on our way to  Medoc. We should have spent several days there.

But  surely we will  visit Troyes again.

I have sworn the stuff off, but found a roll of Lomography 100 film. I loaded it in the Topcon Super DM in order to evaluate a focus problem I have been having with camera/lens. I think it the best result I have achieved with the film.

This shepherd was training the border collie to herd the sheep. The process was fascinating. These dogs are really smart.

This was all happening a short walk from Chateau Margaux, near Bordeaux. XP2, if you're interested.

Very nice rural scene Michael and nice black grey tones

Thank you

Two of the same scene, albeit at very different times of day, gives a good comparison of relative views of 38mm/80mm.

The first with Rolleiflex/Portra 400, second with SWC/M and Provia 400X

Coog nicer color the second picture even if not the same camera

and not taken at the same time as I see the shadows

...  but the first picture keep his charm for a little vintage color

Both are nice in my opinion

Thank you

Henry
