No Chris, it is in the Designer Outlet Centre which is in the former railway works.  The Steam Museum is adjacent and well worth a visit.

Thanks. Here's a relevant trip down memory lane (actually Farringdon Road) in 1962, when the original railway museum opened. My father, as deputy Borough Engineer, wangled himself the job of supervising the exhibits being placed in the museum. He was the guy in the raincoat second from right. Camera and film unknown, just a scan of a print he kept.

Great - thanks for that Chris. A memory indeed!

A good opportunity to post another shot from the Oly + Acros 100, this time a frontal view of the Hinton Manor.

Hi Tri and Keith - Thanks very much the kind remarks.  I really appreciate it and, as I always say, it is the feedback of all flavors that keeps me tuned into this thread!

Tri- Special thanks to you.  And thanks for your patience with those boulders.  I have had my fill of that particular spot and have enough shots to find a few keepers and now have moved on to other boulder-less locations.  :)

A photo from last week on the Manhattan Bridge...
With a re-attachment of the gear set up :)
Linhof Technika Press 23 (1958) Zeiss Planar 100mm, Ektar
Absolutely spectacular cityscape with superb composition and light, again with top expertise in mastering technical problems thus presenting us again a unique artistic vision. An extrordinary achievement from someone who does street - photography on the same very high level. (Let me please apologize for being the only one, who doesn't miss "big" rocks in the foreground). I don't know another one who excells in both fields. Thanks for showing your architecural series for over a year now, Adam!
Cheers,
Simon

In this last LGBT Pride parade, one of the things I noticed was how many children and families were in the crowd.  Sure, there was the usual raunchy crowd in all of its glory.  But there were also more "ordinary" folk who more than counterbalanced the traditional "flaming pride" folk.   A reflection of how the world is becoming more progressive - for the good!
