Thank you Philip for your kind comment much appreciated

Thank you Edward for your nice fog comment. :)

Yes fog in film is better vs digital because grain of film reproduces perfectly microdroplets

of water not pixels. I can post again the proof if you want  !

Another picture for you :)

Love this one too, Henry! I agree that film reproduces fog very nicely.

Not sure, the reason for banding. I do know I was at the limits of available light for this old lens. Our booth was on east side of bulding, near window, while sun was in mid evening on west side. shade from a tree outside the window complicated things. I am lucky to get them to pose.....Let alone get them to sit still for a longer exposure. It might also have something to do with development.

Wayne and Christoph you mean the banding in background, is it "vein" aspect of wood ?

Henry,

I am glad you like the pictures. As you correctly guessed they were taken with a filter. B&W 92 to be precise, so a very dark red filter (cutoff at a wavelength of around 700nm I think). I could still take my pictures hand held.

I like very much these colors Edward

Something magic , not said that for digital pictures.

The green in picture 2 is really faithful

Thank you

Henry
