edwardkaraa Posted July 15, 2017 Share #36142  Posted July 15, 2017 Thank you Philip for your kind comment much appreciated   Thank you Edward for your nice fog comment.  Yes fog in film is better vs digital because grain of film reproduces perfectly microdroplets of water not pixels. I can post again the proof if you want !   Another picture for you   Ilford HP5-Leica M7-Summicron 28 Asph Any correction   Image6fogilfhp5lfht++++550.jpg  Best Henry Love this one too, Henry! I agree that film reproduces fog very nicely.

Doc Henry Posted July 15, 2017 Author Share #36148 Â Posted July 15, 2017 (edited) Not sure, the reason for banding. I do know I was at the limits of available light for this old lens. Our booth was on east side of bulding, near window, while sun was in mid evening on west side. shade from a tree outside the window complicated things. I am lucky to get them to pose.....Let alone get them to sit still for a longer exposure. It might also have something to do with development. Â Not sure, the reason for banding. Thank you for posting Best Henry Henry,  I am glad you like the pictures. As you correctly guessed they were taken with a filter. B&W 92 to be precise, so a very dark red filter (cutoff at a wavelength of around 700nm I think). I could still take my pictures hand held.  Rgds  Christoph
