Where have I been, Adam ? In winter I am heading south , due to health problems and if my budget allows. And always completely offline, much more difficult for my wife than for me. On the other hand, I have time to shoot film - that's the nicer thing about it...

Another picture , also Rolleiflex C / Planar 3:5 and TriX film. Grimaud in winter.

I keep thinking about getting an SL (have the Q but sometimes 28 is too wide) and then I get a film shot back (Portra 800 AND Leica 40MM lens, picked up in London, Steve Kessel recommended, nice lens BTW) and I say, okay, I will live with the cost --

Nice to hear from you again after so much time. Hope the summer brings good health and photo opportunities!

Steve - you are bloody (and I feel that I can say that after the nice dinner and drinks we had in London last Month) out of your mind if you think you need an SL.  These shots are sublime.  Each one.  Especially love the last.  Please stop drinking the Leica digital Koolaid!!!!

This really is a beautiful portrait, Steve. His eyes are just so expressive.

That pic works really well Phil.

The additional benefit of PS on a neg like that is that it is easy and inexpensive.

I have a similar neg somewhere. It took me three months and I don't know how much paper to print it to my vision. I included it in an exhibition, but not for sale. Someone offered me sooo much money for it that I no longer have it. :(

Have never reprinted it. Maybe I will one day.

Sorry to hear about your lack of scanner success.
