Simon - I am a little above average in height but I think the better question is how high off of the ground was my camera when the shutter tripped :)

Pardon my question Adam, but how tall are you?
Best,
Simon

James - Great.  Hope you get your wish :)

Ok, done :)

Extremely lovely tones, Eoin.

More plants. Dirty negatives, but no time to clean at the moment (EOS-1V HS w/ ZE 135 f/2.0 - T-Max 100)...

Nice to hear from you Phil.  Sorry you've been facing challenges and hope to see more of you soon.

Hi film friends,

I've been away for a while on unexpected and urgent matters of a personal nature and haven't been able to keep up with this most excellent thread. What looked like a very bad situation turned out well in the end but I'll admit to being left somewhat chastened by the matter.

Anyway, I'm back now, and will try to reconnect as best I can over the next few weeks. I've visited when I've been able and been very impressed by the continuing high standard of pictures posted here that were shot on FILM. If I haven't said "thanks" or commented on so may pictures, please accept my apologies.

In the meantime, I'd invite you to check out the Australasian One Challenge thread, where there is a competition about to start. Some of the contributors to this thread have a picture there and it makes an interesting look. I was able to enter a picture before the dam walls burst and I had to go to America. It is interesting, too, to note the different approaches of the participants and of course there are pictures shot on both digital and film.

Cheers and best regards to you all, and thank you to those of you who have been so supportive at this time.

Really beautiful colors, Adam! A watercolor brought to life.

Thank you!  I honestly was expecting a little more pastel from the portra 160 but admit that the rendition of this scene has grown on me. :)

I see what you mean, but it's the sky and clouds that pull the overall balance back towards pastel/watercolor. In fact, only the green of the cucumber/watermelon skin pulls the palette towards Ektar :)

I just finished processing a film I took over the last couple of days. Here's one photo I took last night of the flooding currently happening in Missouri.

Hi Phil , I just asked yesterday if some Gentleman here have news from you .... :)

Welcome back Phil . I have posted a minimalist picture for you and Philip :)

On the vote challenge I regret the contributors don't say what cameras they use !

but I recognize immediatly digital pictures by a "razor" lines when you look at

the details , at some places in the picture.
