Advertisement Posted May 2, 2017 Posted May 2, 2017 Hi gbealnz, Take a look here I like film...(open thread). I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
EoinC Posted May 2, 2017 Share #31842 Posted May 2, 2017 Looks like decent rain in that last shot Eoin. Gary It's actually indecent rain over here, Gary. "Bucketing down" severely understates the hydrodynamics involved. I managed two drowned-rat scenarios in the weekend, and nearly got the hat-trick on this brief outing. What I find amusing, is umbrella salesmen standing in the deluge, trying to flog their wares to you, when you look like you are just getting out of the pool after successfully executing a back somersault with 2-/2 twists in the free position.
A miller Posted May 3, 2017 Share #31843 Posted May 3, 2017 Ha ha, Gary. Clever as always. This must be the budget hotel of Miami [emoji3]Sent from my SM-G903F using Tapatalk Thanks, Wayne. Yes, exactly, ants. I call the view below the ant farm Spectacular. There is something about that distance at which folks in the frame are just identifiable as individuals. The "ant hill" perspective? Best, Wayne Thanks, Henry. But no schmootz Beautiful blue of Velvia looks a bit like Cinestil you showed us many months ago in Life is the beach Thanks for posting Adam Henry

Beautfal colors! Thanks for posting! Frank Edward and Frank , with 1595 pages of beautiful images of film (Kodak,Fuji,Agfa...) one thing is sure color is wonderful. I say that , coming from someone who uses 8 years of digital M8 - M9. After seeing pictures in color of Edward and all anothers pictures of Adam,Eoin and another contributors , I say myself : why search other cameras and lost your money ? digital is obsolete in some years , when you have currently so beautiful color with film Edward , absolutely superb color on these pictures ... and in addition in the dark ie bad light condition. It's magic Thanks Edward for sharing with us Best Henry PS: ... and I'll say the same thing for black and white . Take one film you like in black and white, think black and white , take time to compose your picture in b&w and shoot ! ... and you have a real black , in silver grain , homogeneous and beautiful black ! Doc Henry Posted May 3, 2017 Author Share #31855 Posted May 3, 2017 (edited) Henry, with the V600 I put the emulsion side up as indicated on the holders. Sometimes I have problems of Newton rings, but I don't have ANR glass so I use a heavy dictionary to flatten the negatives. I need to invest in ANR glass! Inside Epson Scan you can decide the level of sharpening (zero, light, medium and heavy). I have tried also VueScan, but to me the results look the same as Epson Scan without sharpening. It's strange with V700 emulsion is down ? with ANR glass I notice image is softer Try Antonio and compare Henry Edited May 3, 2017 by Doc Henry
