Thanks for this article in B&H !

I don't understand why a lot of people still find digital images better and still use mainly digit cam.

I don't know why ? may be my (and your) perception with the eyes of color and also b&w is not

the same. May be me (and some of you) here , purists gentlemen , are not "normal" ?

I just developed yesterday some pictures taken at the organic farm I posted for you above in b&w

and also in color (I will post here). It's without appeal.Pictures coming from film (Kodak Portra 160

and TMAX) are nicer and better (and the farmer agree with me) than digital (M9 and M8 taken

just for comparison)

So my conclusion is still the same I love film

Best

Henry

Sorry I forget , a precision , I mean result saw on prints  !  43 pictures printed in b&w and color

Kodak Royal analog paper

I give these prints to a farmer this morning

I like the colours in this, Wayne.

Thank you. It was early in morning and the soft, pastel nature of the scene was the driving motivation for taking the shot. the photograph pretty much, exactly, captured what appeared to me. I guess what they say about the pre-aspherical 35 summilux is true. I was stunned by how well it handled the soft shadows above the chair and table.

For GaryB , the camera I prefer the most

Leica MP-50 Summilux Asph-Kodak TMAX400

Cherry blosson in front of our cathedral and in "contre-jour"

Difficult light condition but it's fine for the MP and his lighmeter

Both Kodak TMAX 100 and 400 are nice too IMO

I commented on the sudden increase in instances of being examined by cats. The dogs, of course, are there as well...........but do not appear nearly as aloof......This fellow appears to be almost jealous. " I would like to come out for a stroll, as well."

1. I have been commenting on increase of encounters with cats.

2. Folks sometimes comment on not noticing  things until they process the photograph.
