Keith (M) Posted January 28, 2015 Share #2943  Posted January 28, 2015 Normally for C41, I send them to either AG Photo or Peak Processing and then scan the negs on my V700. However, my latest roll of Portra 160 I sent to the UK Film Lab (impressive web site). In return for my £15, I was sent a link to download the results of their dev/scan service. These turn out to be circa 6Mb .jpg's, supposedly sized to give a 16" x 12" print. Need to give some thought as to whether or not I will use them again.  Taken with my MP + 28mm Elmarit-M ASPH - a local church. Welcome, dear visitor! Nice and luminous picture Keith perhaps better on the V700  Keith, why not scan yourself ? In general , it is more than 6 Mb if you scans on Epson in Tiff It's better specially in b&w. Look at this thread : http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/film-forum/160651-epson-v700-750-very-good-our.html When the lab send it , it is certain that they are obliged to reduce Best Henry

Sparkassenkunde Posted January 29, 2015 Share #2948  Posted January 29, 2015 wow , so many rolls of Provia to shoot  Henry  It´s Fujifilm 160 Pro S, actually, not Provia;) At the moment I am not willing to spend that much on a roll of film, as Provia is about 13€/roll. The rolls I bought were 2€/roll (exp. 2012, but stored in a fridge all the time).
