Some more New York craziness. I'm not sure the man is entirely buying in to the vibe of wearing the Statue of Liberty hat:

My walk around Fendrod lake while there was still some daylight. Some shots without swans.

It was too cold for the fisherman to come out. I think he was watching the rugby ;-). For me taking photos is more important...

This is perhaps not a very special photo. It's a longish exposure to try to catch some pinpoint stars at dusk. Somewhere between 2-4 mins, camera pointed almost straight up allowed such long exposure without trails. It came out better than I thought but I should probably have waited a bit for a slightly darker sky to have the stars show more brightly.

Thank you very much, Henry, much appreciated. This was last September - besides, I don't try to make photos with overtly political motives. For development I use XTOL diluted 1:1.

Cheers Adam

Another cracker of a picture. Shock and awe again; I love it!

Brighting up my evening as I try to get my 8 yr old to sleep as it's gone 11pm here. She had 2 hours swimming club training and instead of being worn out, it energised her! She was like a Duracell battery....

Have a good evening Adam, I guess you're just starting yours.

Best wishes

Thanks, Christopher. Oh yes, i know how it goes. Sometimes it is impossible to drain the battery when it still has plenty of juice :)

Good luck with it!

Best, Adam

Thanks Henry, I especially like the black duck on the left. At full size there are some lovely tones in the plumage.

The man walking his dog did not upload very well. The original has a lot more detail and is crispier.

Tonight I will try to upload shots of a different part of Neath Canal - in colour. I am now scanning to tiff and just saving to jpeg in Apple Preview. There are no corrections for lens or bright and shady bits in anything uploaded, everything is straight out of the scanner.

Hope you are in good health Henry, the forum seemed a little quieter than usual yesterday.

Kind regards

Christopher
