I don't think you need to persuade us of anything in this thread, Henry. :)

Fuji 400CN and 35 Summilux ASPH. (Some weird banding going on in the sky here – might be scan or crappy development).

I like this lovely picture first for the subject (your daughter) and secondly for the beautiful tonality

of black and white. I saw it's Fuji !

Thanks for sharing Ian

Film is great

This is the Minox/ Slideframe Adaptor:

but I have to correct the width of the film tunnel, as the film is not cut parallel and stucks at the end.

I have an negative carrying adapter similar to that for the Nikon Super Coolscan 9000 ED. It takes two strips. With a bit of amusing juggling of the capture controls in Vuescan, I can capture ten frames in batch mode.

Another mechanism I use with the SL to capture Minox negatives involves a Focusing Bellows-R and Summicron-R 50mm f/2 lens. At full extension, this nets 2.7:1 magnification and gives me close to a full frame Minox negative scan.

A historic building in Christchurch, NZ. Sadly, it was lost in an earthquake.

Fuji Reala. Taken in 2003 with a then-new FM3a and the 45/2.8 pancake lens. Developed and scanned by a Mac's Photo on Colombo St.

This is what we get when imitating film with digital
