What a cracking photograph. Like the man looking out to the subjects of your shot and that lovely sky.

I don't like changing colours in Lightroom or Photoshop as I need someone to tell me if they are right. I will have to live with what I get.

Because of the orange sunlight changing everything, it can look odd. Nobody in work with today says they look wrong. Everybody shows me photos they took on iPhones. The grass on our coast is coarse and burnt by wind and in that light looks like another planet.

Yes Chris , it's a good choice but when you come from digital , it's a habit

But your choice is a right choice. I agree

Thanks for your reply

When I began photographing seriously as a teenager I was often mesmerised by sunsets and dramatic skies and I loved using Velvia 50 for them, pushed a stop for extra saturation. I don't shoot sunsets as often these days, but I still love them and when I see one that is particularly lovely I find it hard not to take a few frames. Some say shooting sunsets is silly photography but I disagree.

This is from the Stockholm archipelago in August 2015. In the coming days I'll bore you with a few more from this location.

Royer 6x9, Angenieux 105mm 4.5, Lomography Color Negative 100

I encountered, for the first time, a guard goose, rather than a guard dog. He came charging out, honking in an aggressive manner, as I took the shot. The goats are enthusiastically, if not well protected.

I made a confusion with Chris in the post above , but I think it's you who develop yourself color film

About your Jobo , it's fine now , no fuse problem ?

If these pictures come from your recent development, It's a good work and IMO your color is nice !

Congrats if it's the case

The green color in the last picture is nice and faithful

Very pleasant Steve. Looks like a terrific place to visit for almost otherwordly pictures. How do you like the CV 12? I've seen over at Cameraquest that there are several really wide lenses and I'm considering adding one of them to my bag.

OH MY GOD what a SILLY photograph!!!  I have never seen such silliness from you, Philip - you must stop!

Thank you, Charles!  I am so happy that you took the time to visit the entire "project" in its totality.  I hope to add more from this coming summer (and along the way do some pruning of what is up to strengthen the overall collection).

Adam,

I particularly enjoy viewing your Jerusalem series on your web site, for then the visual harmony plays for me, the colours and particularly the vibrancy of the street life comes across in dignified and well orchestrated waves.

Thank you

Charles

Thanks, Henry.  I appreciate that.

I am admiring in front of these colors . Gorgeous

Adam I'm in love with this kind of color . Thanks for sharing

You want to see the colors of the M10 Cmos ? Here they are (a little "synthetic" and
looks like the M9 CCD)

Reminds me of some of the towns outside of Dallas where I grew up; I did a fair amount of traveling throughout the region with my high school football team, and also back and forth to my friends' ranches and lake houses :)

Nice one, Steve.  I really like the angles in this.  Since joining Facebook a few weeks ago an acquiring my 2500+ photography "friends", I am already bored of most of these types of shots b/c not only are they in digital format which produces oft-putting colors or sterile B&W tones but the foregrounds often make little sense with the backgrounds - yet people seem so proud of themselves and speak about all the great awards they get.  Go figure!!@#$

Thank you for the comments, Henry. Yes, the new fuse arrived yesterday and I installed it directly upon arriving home.

I am happy with the Lomography 120 film. As I become more enthusiastic about film, I feel pretty good about giving business to companies creating more variety in film selection.
