The first thread I always visit first, even though I'm shooting digital M9-P. Hoping to get a M6 soon. Thank you for your encouragement Ric and Leafster , but this thread has been the contribution of all film lovers who continued to shoot in film. So it is through them that the thread lives. Thank you for them ! Andreas has put "sticky" after our request and after the output of new M-A Leafster I hope see you soon with your M6 a very good idea and you are welcome ! Doc Henry Posted January 5, 2015 Author Share #2547 Posted January 5, 2015 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) You all know the Mont Saint Michel in Normandy with the photos I posted, but you may not be aware that the Mont Saint Michel may no longer be an island due to the "silting up" of the bay. Work has been done to change the topography of the bay. The road to Mont Saint Michel prevents tide flow and promotes the silting. It was built a "suspended" wooden bridge that connects the coast to the island and the titanic work lasted 4 years.Part of the "wooden" bridge is visible in the foreground. Why wood and not concrete ? it is not to deteriorate the landscape of the bay Fuji Acros 100 M7 50 summilux asph Welcome, dear visitor! A miller Posted January 5, 2015 Share #2558 Posted January 5, 2015 Many thanks, Philip, Henry, Keith, Robert and Marc (and everyone else ) - This shot was an early morning on Wall Street. I hadn't thought it was very interesting, although it has some atmospheric qualities that I like. Best, Adam
