For Coogee more fog in b&w and with Kodak TMAX100 , and thanks for your comment.

Kodak TMAX100 (dev pure Kodak D76-22°C)

Leica MP a fabulous camera not with the same style of M7 but redoutable ...and light

35 Summicron Asph I recommend and cheaper than the Summilux 35 A.

I love the "deep black" and you ? perspective effect by the nuance in the distribution of black and grey

versus no nuance and no proportioned shade in digital ! I have this picture with my M9 for comparison

and I have compared ! Otherwise I do not assert without any argument (case of trolls)

For Neil street photos

In the lower isos, for the color and for a fine grain, I am conquered by the Kodak Portra 160

wonderful color without any correction , a work in front of his computer in less (also shoot with my

M8 and M9 for comparison)

Great shot, and I agree regarding your observation. Or possibly a separate subspecies of the homo sapiens sapiens will develop in areas of high mobile internet penetration with a neck column which stoops forward, much shorter arms and thin, long and particularly nimble thumbs.

Lovely fog as always Henry.

I wonder how the many pictures of people staring at their hands will look in 5, 10, 20 years time.

Will we all be gazing vacantly into the middle distance by then, or still watching our hands.

What a nice shot. I agree, Acros is really special and has almost MF qualities in 135.

Thanks for the great insights.  For me, this is not intended to be on any bookstore shelves any time soon.  And I am not looking to make any money.  It seems that anyone wanting to make money for a photo book will need to (i) compromise on quality of the materials and/or make a serious upfront investment of their own to create their own inventory and then hope they sell.  Blurb and Amazon (via Blurb) is just a way to encapsulate a series that I have been working on.  It will grow with time and eventually will build out in its contours.  But for now I just want something to point to for my website and other social media purposes that demonstrates the thoroughness with which I "shoot NYC."

With the little free time I have after work, family and shooting, I want to focus on selling prints for a premium (which  most likely will be of the cityscape variety) - not books.

I will, however, take a look at the links that you have post with devoted interest in the topic.

Thanks again!!

For those whose welcome I have not worn out, I attach a link with a version that pulled the text from the pages except for the first and last (which I moved to the second).  Seems rather benign to me, but am eager to collect any and all comments :)

Adam, an interesting discourse on the fragile world of self publishing and preferences (this and the rest of the interaction(s)) as I much prefer the printed medium. I too enjoyed my introduction to the diverse and interesting New Yorker through your creative eye!

I love these grains , "natural"  please , not artificial !!!

Wayne another pictures like that ?

Thanks

Best

Henry

Thank you so much Henry. It is funny how things go. This is of the last two flowers on my wife's lovingly planted climatus (sp?) vine. Everything else had succumbed to Winter. I took the shot as a sort of throw-away to finish the roll. It turned out to be my favorite from the roll.

Very cool shot Wayne, I really like the crop and framing. Is this the rare-as-hens'-teeth-almost-impossible-to-find 28 Skopar?

Very nicely done Henry. It is interesting how the square format changes one's perception. And to which degree depends on how one sees.
