Christoph - To put a finer point on it, the poor tourists bending over are a few minutes away from being publicly "shaken down" - most gave $20+...  It is hard to say no for some people in this position... (Notice the Muslim woman in the front bending over...yikes  :o )

Fabricate an underwater housing perhaps?

Gary

Good idea, Gary. I actually made a semi-underwater housing for my Kowa back in 1983. I made an open-topped box out of conveyor-belt rubber, held together with silastic, and with a petrie dish for a viewing port. All for the purpose of trying some photo's in a muddy dam in outback Australia. The Devil makes work for idle hands, etc...

Magnifique Eoin. Superb b&w tone

The wet floor in picture 2  like you are there

Droplets of water well reproduced by film.

I know Eoin that you have a MM have you compared these pictures with digit ?

After TMAX100 I bought TMAX400 , not used yet

Best

Henry

Thank you, Henry. I do have a MM, and I like what it does, although I don't use it very often currently.

I generally prefer Tri-X over T-Max, but I had some T-Max 400 in my bag.

Gary/Doc

Im looking at Paris from Dec 27 for three nights................my flight would land at ORY which I guess ia a small airport. Where would you guys recommend staying location wise so easy walking distance to all the photo opportunities ??

Hi, Neil. These days I usually camp around Gare du Nord, making it simple and quick to take the train from / to the Airports. Getting around Paris on the Metro is very easy on the Metro, so it doesn't matter too much where you pitch your tent.

Paris is very photogenic, and i particularly like it in Autumn and Winter, when everyone is wearing ubiquitous black.
