Here are a couple from the new train station in Jerusalem.  They call it the "harp," although some call it an eyesore, which has some truth to it at least until the rest of the area around is finished been revitalized to match the modernity of the station.

Sincere thanks to everyone for your thoughtful comments. Wow, I did not even notice the sluggishness and so I am glad that I asked!!

I have reduced the max file size from 2000x2000 to 1000x1000 and so think will will do the trick. I think smart phone users won't even notice the difference in resolution although on my 27" screen it does make a difference that I will need to weigh over time.

I really appreciate your time and thoughts! :)

Best, Adam

Adam,

Having actually taken some more time to review your website, what strikes me is that you employ a very natural and unforced perspective, or at least that is the effect of the perspective you choose. I consider it an indicator of a very fine artist that your images are incredibly satisfying to view, and easy to appreciate. Perhaps it is because your style suits my view of aesthetic appeal.

In any event, the work is beautifully cohesive, and flows in a very nice evolutionary style that also captures your development as a photographer. I suspect you have sensed that, and that is why the timing is right for an "exhibition" in the electronic media.

My desire to see your images in a book is also a reflection of the appeal that the analog medium holds for me, and I suspect many others. I would be very proud to display your book in my home as a sign of my good taste, as well as a display of yours.

Regards,

J :)

So I have been (finally) working on the bare bones of a website to showcase some of my photographs and offer high-end prints for sale.

I still have more work to do but would love any feedback you might have.  Only making this solicitation on this thread (and will do it only once) given the good people you are whom I've gotten to know over the years.

Thanks in advance :)

www.adammiler.nyc

The use of thumb-nails for each category works well as one is immediately given an overview, rather than have to click/scroll through full-screen images.  Good, clean overall layout devoid of annoying screen-trickery :)  All in all, the site is a pleasure to visit and best of luck with your print-sales, Adam.

@Neil & Henry,

thank you for your friendly comments.

I believe still in photography as documents of the instants of my life. I coudn't blast the cars away, they belong to the instant.

Otherwise this street, 5 minutes  away from me , is no instant. It  runs like a thread through my life. On the left side was the house and orchard of my grandmother, where I spent a part of my youth , sold thince decades and now a build-up area, on the right side is the cemetary, burying the grandma,my and my wifes parents.

Thanks a lot, Dan.  I appreciate that and am glad you like my painter shot.   :)

Sincere thanks, Jean-Marc :)  Ah, yes, my St Maarten Sunset Beach series! How nice of you to remember! :)  I have uploaded them to the site along with a bunch of other "people watching"-type beach photos but have not yet compiled them in a way to be able to present them as a cohesive project.   At some point I most likely will and I really thank you for your time :)

You're very welcome Adam, your photos and your dedication have always been a source of inspiration !

You notice that the clouds have grain as in reality , not smooth

I say this for those who still photograph in digital.

Agree Rira ?

Absolutely! Love the grains from the Trix. I have been experimenting with pushing so I want to see how far I can take it. Waiting to get some back from a lab that I pushed to 12800

Rirakuma, clouds are composed of microdroplets of water like grains of film

same notice with fog or snow

I pushed many times TX 400 to 800 or 1200 Isos with no problem. Not need digit cam with

20.000 Isos for that really ! and in addition you save your money
