What a view! Very nice Rocky. The superb grain really adds life to the image.

Thank you Adam. All views are welcome methinks :) I tend to swing between abstract images and those with people/emotions.

Thanks, Eoin.

Philip - I don't know if Steve Blitz will be able to hold on to his tongue on this one, as you haven't managed to capture a person anywhere expressing any type of emotion mood.  The school of thought aside, I think it is a fine photo with lovely autumn colors.  A lot about nothing but in a beautifully photographed manner :)

Truly great and intense, Adam. Well done. The 80 Planar is an underrated lens and can be used for so much.

More shimmering golden Fall reflections thanks to the barreling early morning sunshine from Central Park.

I like this very much, exactly the kind of photography I enjoy. Nicely done.

Yes, you are right, I love the deep dark mystery of colour! But I also enjoy the contrast of the light, the almost absence of colour in your canal picture :) I do like contrast both in life and art...

Best, Xenia

This is for all of you!

I haven't commented lately on your photos nor published myself. I have been scanning and thinking...

But I want you to know, how much I enjoy being a part of your film community :)

I congratualate Eoin and Keith on their newly acquired Hasselblad cameras and hope you will find your SWC and 500C as trustworthy and inspiring as I have for more then thirtyfive years of usage.

I also admire Neill's great, beautiful series from India and hope you'll keep your 500CW forever...

Every Blad, I have sold over the years, I have regretted :(

Two weeks ago, I bought back a 203FE in wonderful condition and it feels just right in my hands, very much so as my 903SWC.

Back to film it is - thanks to you guys :)

Best wishes,

Xenia

Lovely colours and composition Jean-Marc. Brings back nice memories as Mauritius was the first trip my favourite ex-girlfriend and I made together.

How do you like that Nikkor? Is it this one?

Yes, the 35 W Nikkor 1.8 I am using is from the Nikon SP2005 set so is a mix of the  old 50's design with new glass and coatings . This lens was modified to LTM .

The original LTM ones should fare similarly and have a great reputation !

Only had a little spare time to shoot some film locally !

This picture a little blurry gives a "soft" look (the opposite in digital) I like and you ?

the color is from Kodak Portra 160 for this rose .... may be Xenia doesn't like ?
