Henry,

I think you'll like these two.

Shot on film but using the enemy (Hasselblad X-Pan II) so I can't post them here:

...btw, new M7 used this weekend back at the same locations as above with BW400CN (my favourite B&W film) and Ektar 100 but awaiting processing & scanning. Lots of mist and cloud! So I'll post soon with a photo of the camera.

What a fantastic camera, a joy to use and so nice going back to the simplicity and constraints of film. These actually are quite liberating by limiting options otherwise offered by digital. Also, nothing focuses the mind like knowing there are only 36 frames per roll.

I must add that personally I don't consider film superior to digital or vis-a-versa, just different.

Nice pictures on your link Mark Thanks :)

Yes Mark , M7 a fabulous camera. I 'll post some pictures in color of the quays of Seine river !

Best

Doc Henry: sorry; I meant photo taken with Kodak TMax 400 film, shot at 320 ISO and developed in Spur HRX developer (1:20 dilution for 12.5 mins at 20C).

Still trying out different film/developers combinations.

Rgds

Interesting your reply Braz . Thanks :)

You're right to try different developpers combinations !

It also depends on the film, dilution, development time

per example dilution 1/25 or 1/50 for Agfa Rodinal

A long development time usually accentuates the grain

Look at this link : FilmDev | Recipes & dev times using Developer Agfa Rodinal

PS: I've noticed that the Ilford HP5 doesn't work well with Kodak D76 developper

The 35 Summilux asph is already a "small" wide angle to shoot monuments or quays, there is an accentuated space effect :)

Some people swear by D 76 for HP5

I like the tones here & in your other Hunt photos. As a Rodinal user too, I am curious to know what time & agitation you used.
