I don't use my Rolleiflex as much as I should. But when I do, I'm reminded just how good that lens is.

The meter in the camera is rather primitive, and I'm glad I modified what it was telling me for the shots with bright sunny skies and dark wood.

Very cool!! Lots of energy in this one.

Congrats, Neil. Hope they are your film photos... :)

Adam,

Yes I do have quite a few of my film prints added to the exhibition. I had some really nice Portfolios made in London with one of those specifically in the 6 x 6 format just for my film shots .

Thanks

Wow, it could easily be at one of the poles, terrific shot.

Thanks, Gary.  Yeah, I joke that after this experience (which I will drag you through :) ) I no longer need to visit Iceland :) (except that I do...)

I haven't been around in a while, I thought that I had to use my M6 for any image posted here, and I've been almost exclusively using my new-to-me Nikon FM2 but here is a shot of the recent Italian Heritage Parade here in West Virginia. I was taking pictures of the parade and there were these two cute kids next to me and when I swung the camera around to her, she stared me down. It's a classic expression and the best shot of the whole parade.

Hi Henry,

generally along the coast in Namibia there is a cooling onshore wind (off the sea) which often brings mist inland and is the source of moisture for plants and animals. However on that day the wind blew down the escarpment (we call that wind a berg wind) making the passage very uncomfortable and dusty, hence the relief on reaching the coast!

Regards.

Thanks Charles for your reply and all is well :)  it is essential

Asian wind from the China Sea brings a bit of freshness in early evening

and breathes better than in the day where we suffocate

Best
