same with a little some sharpening ..... maybe its my eyes, or something else, but the shots always look to me less sharp when posted than on my Mac. Perhaps I need to change the sizing formula . . ..

I've just downloaded the latest version of silverfast and it scans good enough for web uploads. My plan is to wet print anyway so this will keep me going until my darkroom is built

I like the sign in the middle, loosely "Only when green, as example to children".

Philip light black and soft white in these pictures

I also saw signs with bizarre drawings when I was in SE Asia

Thanks for posting

A little sharper in the second and a little more contrast Steve

In this kind of picture not easy to reproduce in picture

I have 2 cameras in my bag. The M7 with Ektar and the MP with TMax.

So I can shoot with both in the same time.

I recognize in some pictures it's better in b&w like these last pictures posted

Here another for Philip , you can see the sun begins to rise on the horizon... :)

So I am back , very tired but in good health except for a treated gastroenteritis

that will disappear soon I think but the time difference is really tiring.

I am happy for the majority of my film photos (20 rolls) , almost no digital because

not sensitive and faithful enough to me, unless I have to play on isos

Color photos of dawn are beautiful . All is under development. I'll post soon here  :)

When I left it was page 1010, now we are in 1033 :)

Thanks to all of you to feed this beautiful film thread

"Film is not dead" :)

Welcome back Henry!

To energize you again, but I'm sure you are well on the mend (from the pictures you've posted you certainly are) here is a scene which brought me back to life after crossing the Namib desert many years ago ...

Very nice Charles. It has a filmic or cinematic quality to it.

Doc Henry, here is the photo is in Colour and B&W, which do you like more ?

Glorious Lomography Color 400 as before !!!

It depends on what your subject is. IF it is the woman, her facial expression, the b&w is the better choice. If, on the other hand, the object is the color, the balance of inside vs outside the bus, etc., then the color is better. Over time, the color shot will prove to be a wonderful capture of a point in time. The b&w, something that will appear more timeless. In the end, what your point of the photo determines the color / b&w choice.

If I may, I prefer the colour as the skin tone of the subject makes the scene for me.

Cheers

Thanks Harold for posting I am like Steve and Mute

Just for the color of skin and hair and the beauty of the lady , color without doubt

For general rendering b&w :)but perhaps we lose the main subject  and her look

Best
