MRTEE Posted September 1, 2016 Share #20526 Posted September 1, 2016 Wow, very vibrant! What film? Hi Adam, the film is Ektar100. If you look at the pic number, bottom left you will see the letters ogdeE100 etc. Portra would be ogdep400 etc. Reference number for the negative from the Lab. Tony.

MRTEE Posted September 1, 2016 Share #20528 Posted September 1, 2016 Good to see Henry checking in! This is nicely seen and executed! To my eye, Baltz-esque with an oblique twist (he almost always shot straight on in the Neo-Topographics mode anyway). Thanks Kevin. Lewis Baltz is new to me,so thanks for the education. I must look through my images for some Neo-Topographic tendencies. Tony.
christoph_d Posted September 1, 2016 Share #20529 Posted September 1, 2016 NYC M-A, 28 elmarit pre asph v4, Portra 400 A human moment well captured, Adam. Her demeanour in slight contrast to her advertisements me thinks. Watching a few pictures from your street collection and you get a kaleidoscop of human expression. Best, C
christoph_d Posted September 1, 2016 Share #20530 Posted September 1, 2016 Yes I shoot colour too, in the good old bad old days on Kodachrome 64 (mostly). Once sent to the lab I would become insufferable until the postman broke the tension by bearing the treasured yellow envelope with rattling contents, as if that was not bad enough the house was immediately plunged in darkness ... Oanob_1.jpg The camera details are lost to me but the scene was recorded in Namibia where I worked for some time in 1985. Charles, Simply superb, thanks for showing, Rgds C.
honcho Posted September 1, 2016 Share #20531 Posted September 1, 2016 A strong showing of film photography from over 70 photographers from 17 countries just wrapped up in the Kranzberg Art Center in St Louis, Missouri. Hundreds came to pay hommage to film photography in this exhibit that was co-organized by the Film Shooters Collective. One photo from my "New Yorker's Anonymous" thread was part of the exhibit, with proceeds of any sale donated to charity. Here is an advertisement of the exhibit as well as a snap of my photo (middle right)... Viva film!!!! Good news, well done!

So I spent last night practicing with Hewes 35 and 120 reels and the last two shots were developed entirely in metal (Hewes and Nikor tank). sblitz Posted September 1, 2016 Share #20539 Posted September 1, 2016 just as a matter of info/comparison, here are two shots taken from my first roll with an Agfa Isolate iii with the f3.5/75mm Solinar lens ..... portra 400 on the streets of Manhattan. FYI, the construction is the new addition to the Museum of Modern Art (museum on the bottom, apartments on the top) .... very slow camera to use but I think it is not quite as sharp as my fuji 645w with its 23mm equivalent ..... anyway in the interest of promoting film -- Welcome, dear visitor!
