Klaus very impressive pictures series  and rendering for an "old" film

Very nice.

Thanks for posting Klaus :)

Best

Henry

Thanks, Henry! I just describe it as "old", as the new APX has nothing to do with the original. It´s something from Ilford, probably the same as "Kentmere 100".

Speaking about rendering , impressive Kodak Portra 400 film in sensitivity and color rendering

just an example

11 pm in full dark and with a monopod

Our cathedral illuminated , sound and light show

you can see under the color the cathedral architecture

the big rosace in the middle below and the two gates on left and right side

Gary, have you tried the new APX 100?

Philip.

No, I haven't, too devastated about the demise of the old one, just kidding.

Nope, please enlighten me, I have a roll of the Rollei 100 stuff, I "thought" that was the replacement?

Gary , here's a doc

agfa-apx-100-new.pdf

interesting 4,3 Euros versus 5,8 Euros for Kodak TX

so it's cheaper.

Thanks much, gents!  I've lurked on this board, and especially this thread, for a while -- I've enjoyed very much seeing everyone here still shooting (and getting wonderful images) with film, so I figured I should contribute some too.

Thanks Kevin for sharing and welcome to our thread :)

Stunning b&w and nice rendering tonality in these pictures

Nice composition

I would have needed that, but no this was wide-open with my f/4 17-40. Not an ideal combo with Velvia 50 indoors.
