Well done, and long may you enjoy it, despite the cost. It is worth it. My additional comment is regarding your choice of Ektar film. Purely a personal perspective, but Ektar is always heavy on the Reds in an image. Sometimes this can be an advantage, but so often it appears to give a slight (or more) 'Red Wash' over the whole image. I see it particularly in the buildings, but also in the sky. IMO, Portra is far superior when it comes to colour fidelity. Ektar is a fine film, but not suited to everything. It may be your preference, in which case, just ignore my comments. Hi Ernest Above all, I think it's great how you handle the colors in your pictures, my big respect for that! But some graphic elements often block my access to your color worlds. I like your work very much

Grandma is not one to show loads of tolerance for the camera. I was pretty happy with the results. Really had my hands full with the camera and use of the Leitz accessory rangefinder. erl Posted March 18, 2024 Share #89676 Posted March 18, 2024 Tug of War with Jupiter Leica 111f & 50mm Summitar shooting Delta100. I am quite pleased with this shot because while tugging with Jupiter, I had to hold the pre-focused 111f with the other hand and try to compose through the VF whilst being 'jerked' about by the rope. A few years back someone posted a similar photo on Flickr and wrote that grandparents and their grandbabies bond so tightly because they sense that their time together is short. We're leaving our grandkids tomorrow after a 2 week visit, and, looking at this photo, I can feel their love for one another.
