I found these while digging through my old collection of color prints. In the early 2000s, between losing darkroom capabilities and acquiring a DSLR, I took advantage of the golden era of cheap color film processing and decent 4" x 6" prints. I always ordered them with matte finish and a white border.

Retribution Gospel Choir, a side project of Low guitarist Alan Sparhawk, performing at Kilby Court in Salt Lake City, Utah on September 1, 2005. Taken with a Kodak Retina Ib and Kodak MAX 800 film. Exposure was probably 1/30 second and wide open at f2.8, or maybe f4. For many years the little Retina was my only functional camera. It fit comfortably in a coat pocket when folded. The stage at Kilby is instantly recognizable for its creative use of cheap construction materials and string lights. Crappy flatbed scan of three 4" x 6" prints stitched together in Paint. Only the finest for me!

You spent your time in India well, bringing back such a wealth of interesting pictures!

I remember similar views of "lazy" afternoons from Singapore. Nicely framed with what I presume is a metal fence in the forground, and the different blur characteristics melting everything together.
