Not content with merely quietly becoming the perfect headline act of "Flyover Country" Wayne, this picture just expresses a timelessness so many pictures aspire to but so very few achieve. Its "faults" - the scars and blemishes that attest to its authenticity and its appropriateness for this wonderful project - are its crowning glory. An absolutely marvelous photograph that few of us could achieve. Bravo. Edited January 22, 2023 by stray cat

It is no small matter that I immediately came to this photo after reading. There is no telling how much film I have burned up on the magnificence of corrugated metal barns, only to never be satisfied. The plant growth; the nail heads with 1/8 inch or more of silver paint (thick enough to cast a significant shadow;) the texture of the metal, paint, corrosion.............I think you mastered it here. As always, your composition is perfect. I would never have considered stepping back a few feet. I always move closer. As close as my lens will focus. So simple. So perfect.
